Nielsen Construction Company to Celebrate Annual "NCC Day" This August

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Nielsen Construction California (NCC) will commemorate its annual NCC Day this August, continuing a tradition inspired by the County of San Diego's proclamation recognizing the company's lasting contributions to the region's growth, philanthropy, and construction industry leadership.

On August 1, 2024, San Diego County officially proclaimed the day as "Nielsen Construction California Day," honoring the company's decades of service and its role in shaping communities throughout Southern California.

This year's celebration will once again reflect on NCC's legacy while looking ahead to future projects that continue to strengthen San Diego and beyond.

Founded on a commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and community engagement, Nielsen Construction has played a significant role in constructing many of San Diego's most recognizable facilities. The County's proclamation highlighted the company's involvement in landmark projects including UC San Diego's Geisel Library, SeaWorld San Diego, the Civic Center, and Downtown San Diego's first residential high-rise. The recognition also acknowledged the firm's philanthropic efforts and its construction of the Julian Library community room, expanding educational and community resources for local residents.

As the company celebrates another year of growth, NCC remains committed to delivering high-quality commercial construction while investing in the communities where it works. The annual observance also serves as a reminder of the relationships and partnerships that have helped build the company's reputation over decades of service.

Nielsen Construction California continues to build on its legacy with projects throughout California, maintaining the values that earned the County's recognition and reinforcing its mission to create lasting spaces that benefit future generations. Together, we're building more than projects, but stronger communities.
